Architecture: DecisionCentric® Repository
Using DecisionCentric, users create and execute requests that extract result sets from the databases on your network or mainframe for reporting and other business intelligence analytics. The requests, their result sets and their output formats are all centrally stored in the repository.
View and publish (export) the result set in various formats including:
- Printed reports and forms using DecisionCentric’s Report Designer
- RTF for use in word processing programs such as Word
- Spreadsheets for use in Excel
- HTML for use on the Internet or your organization's intranet
- Acrobat PDF for distribution using email
- TXT for use in other applications such as Access
- XML for use with other business intelligence analytics applications
When published to Excel, DecisionCentric creates a fully-functional spreadsheet with features such as column headings, suppression of repeating values, sort breaks and spreadsheet functions at the sort breaks. Use spreadsheet formulas that refer to cells at the breaks and allow computing of row percentages for “what if” processing for further business intelligence analysis.
