DecisionCentric includes a business intelligence reporting tool. This visual report designer handles the bulk of the heavy lifting of report creation on behalf of the user. Based on the content of a given result set, the DecisionCentric business intelligence reporting tool automatically generates a reporting format. The user can then edit and manipulate the report format in a visual setting to satisfy their specific requirements. The user can print, email or export the final report from within DecisionCentric to virtually any standard business format desired, including .xls, .rtf, .pdf, .txt, .html and .dbf.
Business Intelligence Analytics & Charting Tools
Among DecisionCentric’s business intelligence analytics tools is a multi-dimensional data viewer, or data cube. The data cube provides the user with an easy way to evaluate what decision might be the best for achieving a given set of goals, to identify opportunities, or to pinpoint a problem in the organization.
The data cube displays data in all combinations of its dimensions, and supports drill down and roll up analysis at the user’s discretion. From the perspective of a business intelligence tool for data analytics, the data cube could provide a count for the number of times a field occurs in the database, or the minimum, maximum, sum, or average value of a specific field. At any point, the data cube can be rendered as a full-color chart or graph.
