End User Course 300 Windows Client Refresher
This session steps through creating the five different types of Decision Analyzer requests. At the completion of this course, students will have a better understanding of the Windows Client and when the different request types should be used.
Administrator Course 200 Decision Analyzer Administration
Designed for those who administer and support Decision Analyzer. Topics include: creating requests with the PC Clients, teaching others how to use the PC Clients, defining files, maintaining Decision Analyzer libraries, creating user profiles, using the FDD Editor, matching files, understanding Procs and Macros, BCL, and logic flow. Part of day 4 is a workshop where technical assistance is provided for your specific administrative issues.
Administrator Course 220 Decision Analyzer Administration Workshop and Refresher
Designed for Decision Analyzer Administrators with three months experience, this course reviews new features in the current release, advanced BCL, and problem solving techniques.
Administrator Course 310 Defining Files to Decision Analyzer
This session covers the FDD language statements and syntax. Topics include creating an FDD from a COBOL copybook, creating an FDD for database tables, handling complicated VSAM file structures, maintaining existing FDDs, and using the FDD Editor. A familiarity with VSAM files, JCL and one of the PC Clients is necessary.
Administrator Course 320 Basic Command Language
The main topic of discussion is enhancing your FDDs and/or requests using Decision Analyzer’s Basic Command Language (BCL). Statement types and syntax are covered using real world examples. This session also covers the logic flow of the batch Decision Analyzer. A familiarity with FDDs and one of the PC Clients is necessary.
Administrator Course 330 Setting Up Users with the Profile Manager
This session provides administrators with an in-depth view of the Profile Manager. Other topics include managing the User Libraries, setting up JCL, user defined keywords, and controlling end user access. A familiarity with one of the PC Clients is necessary.
